At this year’s Proposte booth of Baumann Dekor, Brüder Baumann GmbH, a spirit of optimism prevailed during the entire show. All expectations of the board of management prior to this exclusive trade show in the Villa Erba in Cerbobbio have been by far exceeded in the course of the event. Contrary to the general trend of an order slowdown, Baumann Dekor enjoyed dynamic demand during the three days in Como.

This project was a special challenge since an existing office building had to be converted into a hotel, a task the studio of the renowned architect Dipl.-Ing. Walter Hoffelner mastered superbly.

It was a fantastic project and a big challenge, too, as we delivered more than 20 000 linear metres of fabrics - to the full satisfaction of all parties involved. The designers, headed by Teresa Anderson, VP of Interior Design, and Giacomo Mortola, co-ordinating architect, selected from our wide range of first-class materials and colours those that match Cunard's philosophy and grandeur the best.

Cruise + Ferry, held every two years in London, is regarded as one of the most important exhibitions in the cruise ship industry.
