Production

Our in-house full-step production facilities guarantee the highest levels of flexibility. Vertically structured, we run a modern Jacquard and Dobby weaving mill, all of which are electronically automated, a textile printing department with an automatic rotary screen printing machine as well as a flat-bed printing machine, a department for dyeworks (yarn and piece dyes) and a finishing department.

Baumann Dekor works with greige goods and yarns from different fibres, particularly with flame-retardant materials (Trevira CS). More than 200 tons of raw and dyed yarns are stored in a fully computerised warehouse giving place to 5,600 palletts. The annual output amounts to approx. 2 million linear metres of high-quality home and contract textiles.

Environmental responsibility
For many years, we have been using natural gas and operating a modern, energy efficient sewage cleaning system. These factors enable us to protect the environment, to save energy and to keep production costs down.

Quality management
The in-house quality control department is responsible for overall production quality control and guarantees that each piece of fabric leaving the company is in compliance with the customer’s requirements.

Our laboratory is equipped to facilitate all kinds of product testing in order to guarantee a continuously high quality standard. All our staff and employees in our various departments are highly orientated towards top quality standards.

We also pay much attention to producing textiles that are trendy, easy to care, but also in compliance with human and ecological standards. These fabrics offer maximum textile safety to the user and are within the limits of Öko-Tex Standard 100 product class IV.

Baumann Dekor is also entitled to bear the Austrian Quality Label. Last but not least it is an accredited supplier to the Marine Industry and therefore listed in  the so-called “Blue Book”, i.e. the list of approvals according to MED.
